You will be responsible for:
- Help to optimize operational processes linked to alert generation, analysis, escalation and decisioning of Market Surveillance alerts related to potential market manipulation or insider dealing
- Participate in the enhancement of the detection scenarios and detection parameters used to identify suspicions trading activity
- Partner with the General Secretary and Global Information Technology teams and the Head office and Global Compliance teams
- Contribute to operational procedures documents
- Assist in the preparation of the management reporting dashboards and key performance indicator presentations; present information to management
- Analyze the alerts generated to identify suspicious or non-compliant trading activity
- Serve as a surveillance Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Master the system configuration options in order to suggest changes to system parameters in order to enhance the detection capabilities of the system and obtain more pertinent alerts
- Configure, test and back-test the system surveillance parameters with global compliance colleagues, IT and with the vendor of the software
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Degree in Management, Economics, Legal or similar;
- Strong financial markets experience (Fixed Income & Currency (FIC), Foreign Exchange (FX), Benchmarks, Debt Capital Markets)
- Regulatory knowledge (Market Abuse Regulation, MiFID II)
- Fluency in French and English;
- Prior experience with Bloomberg and/or Reuters terminals will be valued
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
