Multinational Shared Service Center is looking for a Purchasing Manager (m/f)
A sua nova função
• Organization, control, regulation and quantification of all operational purchasing activities handled in the Shared Service Center, with the objective of efficiency and effectiveness of operational handling and the use of resources.
• Includes the main topics Supplier Master Data (SMD), Purchase Order / Confirmation (PO/OP) and Travel & Expenses (T&E), as well as global Reporting & SOP Project support
• Actively supports all sites in scope to achieve operational purchasing targets.
• Member of global PUR SOP management team and various decision circles and be a competent partner to all internal customers while ensuring early involvement of purchasing
• People management responsibility (allocation of work, training, mentoring, development, personnel budget etc.) for a team of >30 staff: ensuring selection, management, assessment and promotion of employees to ensure long-term corporate success with competent and motivated staff.
• Operational Purchasing: support purchase order handling for 5 major local purchasing sites in Europe, as well as multiple smaller sites.
• Tactical Purchasing: Ensure negotiation and best purchasing results on scope of “spot-buy” purchasing for multiple demands.
• Master Data Management: Ensure correct global maintenance processes and execution on supplier master data and other master data items, incl. related admin tasks.
• Travel & Expense Claim Management: drive operational handling and process improvement on T&E processes for the company.
• Organizational, procedural and process responsibility: adaptation and implementation of efficient forms of organization, procedures and processes to capture rationalization potentials, to optimize productivity and to meet safety requirements, considering operational impact
• Support actively the local Purchasing and Core Buyer Organizations to continuously optimize processes and results.
O que necessita para ser bem sucedido
• Degree in Business Administration or similar with ideally 8+ years’ experience in purchasing or shared service management, with at least 4+ years of actual people management experience.
• Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills
• Have high understanding about a running purchasing organization and/or shared service organization, different procurement work flows, major internal customers and supplier capabilities in general
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Some experience with other cultures and international exposure is an advantage
