Principais responsabilidades
Manage and optimize transport flows on behalf of plant(s) Contribute to the continuous improvement of the transport organization in his/her cluster
Scope may include inbound and outbound; road, sea and air; standard and premium; Full Truck Load (FTL), Less than Truck Load (LTL) and Shared Flows. Inbound / Outbound freight costs vs Budget (in value and % of sales)
Transport Management process adherence (measured through check sheet), Transport service rate (MPM related to freight)
Optimize transport flows: define the monthly/weekly transport plan in cooperation with the plant (Material Planners, Master Scheduler, Customer Contacts and PC&L Manager for validation) Monitor the truck utilization per lane vs target (in % of ldm/m3, weight, HU),
Identify truck utilization opportunities in the weekly/monthly plans and liaise with the material planners to improve it,
Manage transport flows: execute the weekly transport plan Prepare and sent Freight Orders to the carriers through the Transport Management System,
Follow-up the execution of the Freight Orders (adherence to loading/unloading windows). In case of delay, alert the plant and work on resolution/back-up with the carrier,
When required, organize premium freight according the related procedure, Ensures three-way-match of freight invoices, Support the resolution of claims with carriers, in relation with the plant, finance and account payables.
Control the split of shared flows costs between the plants, Control the accuracy of data in the Transport Management System (packaging, lead-time, distances, costs, …) ; Ensure correction are done by the adequate department when discrepancies are identified, Create and maintain transport and service agreements with the carriers,
Support the implementation of new tools, systems and processes, Contribute to the definition and implementation of new transport concepts
Perfil desejado
Technical or Master's degree in transport or supply-chain management,
First experience in transport operations or material planning,
Computer literacy (Transport Management System) / Analytic skills (incl. Excel usage),
Multi-functional & Multi-cultural communication, Minimum bi-lingual (incl. English),
Customer orientation / Team spirit / Autonomy / Openness to new ideas,
Ability to work under time pressure
